ii. Any and all political campaigning outside of the campaign period will be suppressed or removed, this is including but not limited to announcing candidacy, speeches, and campaign promises

(2 U.C § 12) Restriction on Political Campaigning, 1.28.17 is crucial in cracking down on political corruption, by keeping members of the government focused on the present and not on campaigning.
This is not a violation of political freedom, as it does not have any affect on any individuals rights to speak out on political matters.

i. Repeat offenses will be tried in the Supreme Court
ii. Punishments will range from removal from office, barring from office, to banishment"
