Basic Rules:
The role play in the Union is a mix between traditional role play and RPG, with RPG elements coming into play during battles and wars. There are a few basic rules to the role play that all nations participating need to follow:
1. Be realistic - if you consistently try and make moves that aren't realistic or just don't make sense, you will be removed. This is the current moderators discretion.
2. No retconing - you cannot change already established facts
3. Moderator word is law - disobeying the mods can result in removal
4. No Metagaming - you do not know what is not stated in the RP, private conversations or moves made SIC are secret
5. No WMD's - weapons of mass destruction are not allowed unless agreed upon by all players
6. Stay within mod defined tech level - if the moderator says no FTL, then do not use FTL
These are just a few ground rules, remember moderators can establish their own rules prior to starting an RP.
Making Moves:
When making a move, you must consider these rules:
1. You must wait for at least one other person to make a move after you
2. When making a move involving another player, you cannot continue until they respond to your move
3. Be realistic about time, you cannot do too much in a single move
