"As a democracy, citizens have a right to things we know aren't going to kill them or really have any affect on them. Marijuana is currently illegal prohibiting vital growth to the regional economy.
Cannabis offers many benefits in medicine. This act would allow freedom big corporations have on the medical markets. Cannabis offers a cheaper and safer alternative to many prescription drugs.
The Government will only act as a regulatory agency in regards to marijuana. Leaving all Dispenseres and Nurseries to be privately owned and operated.
Amendments:
I. This bill allows adults over the age of 18 to buy up to 1 ounces of marijuana at a time. But citizens can own up to 5 ounces at a time if held at a private location.
II. Under this new law it will offer tax credits to new Dispensers and Nurseries to give the new market an extra pillar of support. These tax credits will only last the first 3 years.
III. There will be a 10% sales tax exercised on transactions involving cannabis.
IV. This bill will allow cannabis to be used as medicine
Optionality Clause
Under this clause nations of the Union of Saxon Justice may opt-out of the legalization of recreational cannabis. But it does not allow nations to opt-out of medicinal cannabis.
Punishments:
I. Any adult caught selling to a minor will be held on trial and punishments will be dealt out by the court on a case to case basis.
II. Any adult caught with more than an ounce on them at a time will just simply be fined 100$ and have their amount carried seized. Nothing stays on record however."

A. The law in question was written by an inactive member who has since ceased to exist.
B. The optionality clause renders the purpose of this act void as nations can choose to not participate
C. The phrase "marijuana is currently illegal" is incorrect in its assertion as no legislation regarding cannabis had previously been drafted
D. If legislation on medical cannabis is to be drafted it should not be done so with the baggage of recreational cannabis
Hereby repeals the Cannabis Legalization Act, 12.18.16
Reasoning this need to be put back into full force. Is no define law for the citizens, so people who come to power can put in an executive order taking away liberties of the people.
