New Groups/Group Hierarchy
New groups have been registered on the forum, groups to help differentiate members based on status. These groups also add functionality, as now the Supreme Court and Congress members have private chambers where they can discuss cases privately. Eventually the plan is to include a similar private board for both departments (DOFA and DODA). And also after the first election and the dissolution of the parties, new party groups will be created for the parties that replace them, which would then allow them to have private party assemblies.
When assigning members to their respective groups, certain groups will take precedence over others if a member holds more than one position. The Hierarchy is as follows:
-Executive (Founder/Delegate)
-President
-Minister of IA/SecState
-Congress/Court
-Vice President
For example, our Vice President is also a member of the court, but his court membership takes precedence over his Vice Presidency so that is what he is labeled as. And vice versa, if the Delegate was to hold any other position, they would remain labeled as Executive.
Roleplay Board
At the behest of our honorable President, Roleplay boards have been established. In the RP boards, members can create personas to debate various topics under. Currently we have the following categories: War RP, Election RP, and Trade RP.
War RP: The War RP board is a place where nations can partake in War Games. War Games are simulated war exercises between 2 or more nations, where the nations will take into account all of their various statistics and simulate a war between each other. The War Games are completely separate from all of the official business of the region and has no effect on official diplomacy.
Election RP: The Election RP board is where nations who are running for office can run their campaigns. Campaigns can be as simple or complex as the Candidate desires. Further, other nations can form PACs and super PACs to support Candidates.
Trade RP: The Trade RP board is where nations can hash out trade agreements based on their respective economies. Trade Agreements and Trade Summits can be a fun way for nations to form stronger diplomatic ties and become more involved.
Along with these categories there is a Technical board as well for members who wish to familiarize themselves with the RP rules, as well as anyone who wishes to suggest changes to the Moderators.
Future Plans
-Form DODA office
-Create private discussion boards for Departments
-Expand upon RP section
-Create Party specific boards
