When I announced I would no longer run for a second term, I also mentioned I would push for the creation of an office where I can continue my work documenting our regions history as well as managing the forums. As such, I am creating this referendum to establish the office of Minister of Information. The passing of this referendum would entail:
-Establishing the Minister of Information
-Altering the Government Framework to include the new position
-Expanding the Department of Domestic Affairs to implement this position
Alterations to the framework would be as follows:
"VII. The Minister of Information of the Union of Saxon Justice is an appointed position, appointed by the current president. The duties of the Minister of Information are as follows:
i. Official custodian of all documents
ii. Document the history of Saxon Justice accurately and in a manner accessible to all
iii. Administrate the Regional Forum, acting on the will of the Founder and President"
The Minister of Information would be in the power structure beneath the President, acting as an equal to the Secretary of State and the Minister of Internal Affairs.
The Constitution would also be altered to add in this position, but that is another referendum, as I plan on writing an updated version of the Constitution to reflect all of the changes we have made in the last month.
I hope you will all consider this proposal and vote accordingly.
