The purpose of this act is to limit the power of government officials and to restrict the amount of power held by any one individual. By limiting the scope of government power, the interests of the people are protected.
The sections of this legislation are as follows:
I. No government official may hold two positions of overlapping authority, e.g a member cannot hold a court and congress seat simultaneously.
i. If a member is a Congressman, they cannot also be a court justice and vice versa
ii. Secretarys, Ministers, Prime Minister, and Supreme Justice may not hold any other position of authority
iii. The Vice President may also be a presiding member of the congress or court, but not both
II. The Executive Power of the Founder and WA Delegate is not absolute, only permitted to be used in times of dire need, or when the security of the region is at risk.
i. Time of dire need are defined as invasion or coup, times when the government itself is unable to react promptly
ii. The Founder and WA Delegate may eject a member-state if they are deemed dangerous by a joint decision of SecDef and SecState, however, ejections may be overturned by the court
